The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that plaintiffs’ lawyers may not use confidential DMV records to troll for clients. Plaintiffs’ lawyers may not “acquire highly restricted personal information from state DMV records to send bulk solicitations without express consent from the targeted recipients.”
