Wall Street Journal Spotlights Need for ‘Legacy Lawsuit’ Reform in Louisiana
The Wall Street Journal today editorializes about the economic drag that so-called “legacy lawsuits” have imposed on Louisiana’s economy in recent years while also impeding overall national energy production. The editoral praises the state legislature for finally passing compromise legislation, but points out that it took much longer than it should have and that Gov. Bobby Jindal had been largely AWOL for much of the process.
